Birtley Library is conveniently located on the main road and offers a wide range of services.

Our libraries are open for the selection of books and computer use.

Tuesday	9am to 5pm
Wednesday	9am to 5pm
Thursday	9am to 7pm
Friday	9am to 5pm
Saturday	9am to 1pm
Sunday	Closed

May Bank Holiday Opening Hours

Birtley Library will be open over the following hours this Bank Holiday weekend:

Saturday 3rd May: 9am to 1pm

Sunday 4th May: Closed

Monday 5th May: Closed

Normal hours resume on Tuesday 6th May at 9am.

Computers and digital facilities

All our libraries have PCs for library members aged eight years and over and it's free to use our computers and our wifi. Services include:

- computers with internet access and Microsoft Office
- microbits for loan
- printing (a small charge applies), photocopying and scanning
- wifi
