The Civic Centre is a five minute walk from Gateshead bus and metro station, and the town centre. For information about public transport please visit the Nexus website (opens new window).

There is a public car park at the back of the building, accessed from Arthur Street. You need to buy a ticket to park here. Disabled parking spaces are available.

The Registrars Office has a separate entrance on the west side of the building. You do not need to go to the main reception.
