Overview

If you need help taking your bin out, we can provide an assisted collection service.

Our in crew will collect the bin from its normal storage space, take it to the lorry to be emptied, and then return it back to its storage space.

We provide two types of assistance, temporary and permanent.

There must not be anyone else at the property who can take the bins out on your behalf.

Temporary requests

For temporary assistance, you need to give good reason why you can't take your bins out. This could be because you've recently had surgery or had a bad injury.

You can apply for up to six months of temporary help. If you need more time, you will need to report a change of circumstances.

Permanent requests

For permanent assistance, you may be asked to provide evidence that you have a medical condition preventing you from taking your bins out.

We will ask all residents to re-apply after a few years. We will be in touch when renewal is due.
