St. Mary's Heritage Centre
St Mary's Church is a Grade I listed building available to hire outside opening hours for receptions, conferences and concerts. A stunning, atmospheric space, although there are some restrictions on what can be permitted in the building. The Main Space has a maximum capacity of 150, plus the Education Space which is ideal for smaller meetings.

Gateshead Central Library: Caedmon Hall
Situated within Gateshead Central Library, Caedmon Hall is a flexible space with moveable seating, including a raised theatre style tiered seating section. It's an ideal venue to hire for smaller music events, dance and drama as well as parties, rehearsals, meetings and conferences. With a capacity of 240 theatre style and approx 110 cabaret style, the hall has excellent acoustics and a wooden sprung floor. Bewicks, downstairs in the library is a licensed café/bar which can be hired with the Hall and seats approx 50.
A discount of 20% is available to Gateshead Council Services and Gateshead based not-for-profit organisations.
Wailes and Dodds Community Rooms are newly refurbished spaces also for hire and are ideal for meetings, presentations and talks and come with a plasma screen and small kitchen area.
