Libraries and the Coronavirus
Libraries are providing a Ring and Read service: for more information go to the 'Find a Book' section. You can also borrow eBooks and eAudiobooks at http://library.bolindadigital.com/gateshead. Due to the covid-19 crisis, libraries currently remain closed.

Opening Hours

Libraries are currently closed because of the Covid-19 crisis. Go to BorrowBox to access our free eBook and eAudiobook lending service. If you would like to borrow books, please use our Ring and Read service.

Normal hours are:
Monday: 9am-7pm
Tuesday: 9am-7pm
Wednesday: 9am-5pm
Thursday: 9am-7pm
Friday: 9am-5pm
Saturday: 9am-1pm

Computers and digital facilities

All our libraries have PCs for library members aged 8 years and over and it's free to use our computers and our wifi. Services include:
