Employment and volunteering
Support is available for people with a learning or autism who have an assessed need to learn about, obtain and maintain employment and to take part in enterprise activities across the borough.
Next Enterprises offers opportunities to people with autism and learning disabilities to gain valuable work experience in preparation for employment. This is the ideal place to try out different types of jobs in different settings, to find out what you are good at and what you enjoy. Opportunities include gardening, ground maintenance, clerical, retail, training and catering. It's also a great way to make new friends and be join in the community.

Contact Adult Social Care
There are many ways to contact the adult social care team, both online and over the phone.
We encourage people who can contact us online to do so, as it helps to free up phone lines for emergencies or for those who don't have access to or the skills to use computers.
