Caregivers Connected Gateshead
Delivered by Carers Federation
The Caregivers Connected service offers support to all those caring for someone residing in Gateshead. It is delivered by Carers Federation. This service is free to access and is funded by Gateshead Council and the North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB).
Examples of support provided:
- information, advice and guidance
- benefits advice
- adult and young carer assessments
- parent carer needs assessments
- peer support groups
- caregiver involvement opportunities e.g., Expert Panels
- a volunteer-led support service
- wellbeing fund
- skills and training workshops for adult caregivers and young adult carers
- outreach activities for young and young adult carers.

We encourage people who can contact us online to do so, as it helps to free up phone lines for emergencies or for those who don't have access to or the skills to use computers.
