'No ball games' signs
We no longer install 'No ball games' signs or repair them.
Public open spaces are for everyone to use. Playing ball games on these spaces is not illegal and the signs cannot be enforced.
Ball games are not classed as antisocial behaviour but, if they are being deliberately and persistently played recklessly, or have caused damage to property, that can be classed as antisocial behaviour.
If a compromise cannot be reached you can report the issue.
