Workforce development and training

We have a range of courses available for employers. We offer non-accredited and nationally accredited training courses ranging from Food Safety and Allergen Awareness, to First Aid and Health and Safety sessions.

Training can take place at our training centre or we can come to you, making it easier and more convenient for your staff. Prices start from only £55 per person, with group discounts available on a range of courses.

Bespoke training

We can offer bespoke training for your business. After undertaking a training needs analysis, we will advise you on what would best meet your needs and how we can help you meet them. Depending on the type of employer you are, we may be able to access funding to help with the cost of training. We'll be happy to discuss this with you.

For information about our accredited courses please contact Amanda Cable at on 0191 433 3563 or email amandacable@gateshead.gov.uk
