Alternative provision in the local area

Alternative provision is education arranged by a school or a local authority for children who, because of exclusion, illness or other reasons, would not otherwise receive suitable education. The alternative provision list has been developed to provide free and impartial information to you about alternative provision within the local and surrounding area and offered online.

Gateshead Council are not responsible for quality assuring the alternative providers in this list unless we directly commission them to support our children. Schools are responsible for quality assuring any provision that they place their pupils into.
