Who Were the Birtley Belgians - Heritage Walk

The Birtley Belgians had their own self-contained village in Birtley, see the sites where there used to be shops, the church, hospital and school and the Birtley Cemetery. This walk, with members of Birtley Heritage Group, will take around 1½ hours. Please wear suitable clothing, meet at Birtley library at 10.30am.
