Despite the challenges we have all faced throughout this year we know that the strength of Gateshead is the people of Gateshead.
We know this year has been tough for so many people but by working together we've have still been able to achieve lots.
- We've launched our Family Hubs to provide a welcoming space for families and the wider community
- We're leading the way with power generated from zero carbon, renewable sources
- We're investing £168m in housing over the next 5 years
- We've established one of the best warm spaces networks in the country
- We've invested additional resources in our environmental services.
We're proud of everything that we have continued to achieve and are incredibly lucky to have employees who go above and beyond to help the people of Gateshead to thrive, However we know that we couldn't do any of this without the support of our 'Gateshead Family', including partners, businesses and community groups.
