Apply for approval or renewal as a venue for marriage HL

To hold a civil  marriage or civil partnership at premises in England or Wales, the premises must be approved by the local civil registration authority for the geographical area where the premises are located. Gateshead Council is a civil registration authority.

You must be the proprietor or a trustee of the premises to apply for permission to hold ceremonies to solemnise civil marriages or form civil partnerships.
