Energy conservation advice

EU Energy Label
When buying or hiring the following electrical goods:

  • new domestic refrigerators
  • freezers and fridge-freezer combinations
  • washing machines
  • electric tumble dryers
  • combined washer-dryers and dishwashers

The European Community Energy Label must be displayed by law. The label can be viewed on the New EU Energy Label website (opens new window).

They can help you with a free home energy check, details of the latest grants and offers for installing energy saving measures, information on the most energy efficient appliances and heating systems, advice on how to generate your own renewable energy and advice on cleaner vehicles and fuels to cut down running costs and emissions.
