Advocate Residential - requesting volunteering opportunities for a young person in care

A young person in care is seeking volunteering opportunities related to childcare, specifically with children aged 4 to 10 years. They experience some anxiety and confidence challenges, so they are open to roles that involve working with both children and their parents, provided there is some support available for certain activities, such as reading. They are enthusiastic about completing relevant training to enhance their effectiveness in the role and to support their transition into a college course. Initially, they would appreciate staff support from an Advocate during the application and planning stages. Once settled, they are comfortable attending independently but would like the option of 1:1 support if needed.
