Birtley Community Centre - Requesting donations of topsoil

Birtley Community Centre are in the process of building raised beds to be used by community members and volunteers from the community centre to grow vegetables. The project aims to provide people with the opportunity to connect with nature and participate in outdoor activities. It is hoped that the produce grown can be used in lunch clubs and warms spaces, as well as to support individuals in need with access to fresh, healthy food. 

This project still requires approximately 10 large bags of topsoil, which will be added to the raised beds to enable planting to begin. Birtley Community Centre would be very grateful for any bags of topsoil or any monetary donation towards this project.
