Emerald Explorers: Scandi-Inspired Fabric Collage with Ali Wilkes

In this workshop, you'll use hand-painted papers to form a beautiful collage that will then be transferred onto fabric through heat pressing, resulting in striking colours and patterns.
Disperse dyes, which have been in use since the 1920s, provide a rich, durable solution for creating vivid prints. The painted papers will be heat-pressed onto fabric, bringing your vision to life in a way that's both artistic and lasting.
By the end of the session, you'll take away multiple fabric pieces featuring your custom designs—perfect for gifts, framing, or even as the foundation for an embroidery project. The possibilities are endless!
Please bring an apron or old shirt.
