Youth work

Youth work plays a crucial role in the lives of young people. It provides a lifeline to many, as well as bringing new opportunities to gain essential skills, broaden horizons and giving them a safe space to be themselves. Youth work can transform a young person's mental health and wellbeing, confidence, self-esteem, behaviour and engagement in their communities. Because it is delivered in different places and using creative ways, youth work offers a flexibility that formal education cannot.
