Stomping Grounds North East CIO

About

Stomping Grounds provide learner-led activities in a woodland setting, enabling choice; free play; and relationship building. This in turn promotes self-esteem, empathy and enjoyment.  Learners are encouraged to take supported risks to 'try things out' - physically, socially and emotionally. Forest school subsequently fosters resilience, independence and creativity.

As the support provided by Stomping Grounds practitioners is individualised and bespoke in nature, they can work with children and young people with many different life experiences and challenges.

Suitable ages ranges

Stomping Grounds can accept children from ages 5 to 16 years old.
