119 Transitional arrangements

(1) The council will make any transitional provision relating to the commencement of this scheme as it sees fit, or as set out in regulations prescribed by the Secretary of State. Any such arrangements are set out in Schedule 11 of this scheme or in regulations prescribed by the Secretary of State.

(2) Where Gateshead Council revises or replaces this scheme in accordance with Schedule 1A of the LGFA 1992, and such a revision or replacement has the effect of reducing or removing a reduction, the council will consider whether it is appropriate to include any transitional provision relating to that revision or replacement as it sees fit. The terms of any such provision will be set out in Schedule 11.

(3) Where Gateshead Council revises or changes this scheme for any of the reasons set out in the "Changes to the scheme" paragraph on page 3 of this document, it will consider whether it is appropriate to include any transitional provision relating to that change and will set out the terms of any such provision in Schedule 11.
