Edberts House

You will receive a warm welcome into our Community House. There will be a cosy space to sit, a TV to watch, some games to play, books to read and a general home from home feel. There is an area to make a cuppa and some snacks.

In the Community House there will be activities to get involved in, if you choose. The staff are very helpful and friendly and can help you to access any support that you may need. If you need a translation service the team will support this as and when it's needed. 

We have Community Link Workers in and around Edberts House who can offer support through the GP surgeries. We also have a Citizen's Advice Worker based in the building who is willing to book direct appointments. 

Edberts House is based on the High Lanes Estate in Heworth. The 51 and 52 bus stops right outside the entrance to the estate.

You are very welcome to pop a discreet donation into our honesty box without obligation. There is often a small charge attached to activities, however this should not be prohibitive.
