Bensham Court Tenants and Residents Association

People can expect to be made welcome by staff and volunteers. There will be tea, coffee, juice, biscuits available daily.  

People can charge phones and laptops. They can watch TV or listen to the radio, along with a reading corner and selection of books to take away.  Our community lounge is warm, safe and friendly, where people can come together in a non-judgemental environment.

We can offer a signpost service relating to all services provided by Gateshead Council and partner agencies.

Breakfast club (Tuesday and Friday 9am-10am) includes a choice of cereals and toast.

Wednesdays Breakfast club include a bacon and mushroom sandwich between 9.30am to 11am.  

Free bingo sessions on a Tuesday between 2pm to 4pm. 

Fridays are women's group 11am to 1pm (safe space). 

We have a bus stop outside of the block of flats for bus numbers 53, 54, 94 and 97.  These buses will take people to Gateshead Interchange and other local areas.

This Warm Space is free, but donations are welcome and will be used to replenish stock for future use.
