Online safety
Being online can be positive for children and young people; including those with SEND provided they know how to keep safe. However, children and young people with SEND are more likely than their peers to be at risk of cyber bullying, online grooming and exploitation.
Evidence shows that children and young people with SEND can often explain how to keep safe but can be less able to take steps to avoid risk and harm.
