Kibblesworth Village Millennium Centre reduces heating costs thanks to generous donation from Zentia

Kibblesworth Village Millennium Centre has taken a major step toward improving energy efficiency and reducing heating costs, thanks to a generous donation from ceiling solutions specialist, Zentia.

The Centre, known for its high ceilings, has long faced challenges in maintaining warmth throughout its spacious rooms—particularly during colder months. The high ceilings, while architecturally striking, have significantly increased heating demands, leading to elevated energy bills.

In an effort to address this issue, the Centre sought to install suspended ceiling boards to help lower the ceiling height and improve heat retention. Zentia responded to this need with a kind donation of ceiling tiles and grid systems.

Thanks to Zentia's support, the Centre has successfully installed suspended ceilings in the Main Hall, Lounge, and a back room.

Councillor Turner, who played a key role in facilitating the donation, shared:

I contacted Gateshead Exchange to seek support for Kibblesworth Village Millennium Centre from a local business and was very pleased when Zentia agreed to provide these tiles.

The team at Kibblesworth Village Millennium Centre expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Zentia for their contribution, which not only supports the Centre's sustainability goals but also enhances the experience for all who use the facility.

In a statement, the Centre added:

We would like to say that we are over the moon with the results of our new suspended ceilings, and we are so grateful to Zentia for their generosity in donating all of the tiles and grids for our community centre.
We would not have been aware of this opportunity without the input of Gateshead Exchange who put us in touch with Zentia and made this possible.
