Nissan volunteers lend a helping hand at Teams Life Centre

The day began with the volunteers tackling the charity shop's overstocked storage cupboard. They efficiently cleared out the space, reorganized items on the shelves, and removed unsold stock to be donated to another charity - ensuring nothing went to waste and making room for new donations.
To show appreciation, the Teams Life Centre provided the volunteers with a hearty, home-cooked lunch. Energized and ready for more, the pair then turned their attention to painting two of the building's small hallways. These high-traffic areas were given a fresh coat of paint, significantly improving the appearance of the space.
Margaret Carlin from the Teams Life Centre expressed her gratitude, saying:
"Their work was a real support to us as the charity shop is inundated with stock and we are now able to manage it much easier and rotate stock more efficiently. The painting was done to a high standard in high-traffic areas, improving the space but also saving money on decorating costs."
The visit from Nissan's volunteers is a shining example of how corporate social responsibility can directly benefit local communities. Their efforts not only enhanced the functionality and appearance of the Teams Life Centre but also underscored the value of collaboration between businesses and community organizations.
