    Overview

    Leyburn Place is situated in the south of Gateshead in Birtley. Birtley high street is a short distance away. It has amenities including shops, a library and a large supermarket, and good bus transport links to Gateshead, Chester-le-Street and Durham.

These are technology solutions that can help you to manage many risks around the home, and alert caregivers in an emergency. The scheme has a Mobile Sheltered Scheme Officer who shares their time with other schemes but is contactable between 8.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday, providing support to residents.
