Overview

Angel Court is situated in Harlow Green, Gateshead, with some spectacular views of the Angel of the North. Wrekenton High Street is a short journey away with a range of shops including a post office, a pharmacy, and a large supermarket. A doctor's surgery is also close by. There are good bus transport links in this area.  

Angel Court comprises of 45 two-bed flats and six two-bed bungalows with two resident and visitor car parks within the grounds. There are five floors in Angel Court and two lifts available.  

All properties contain emergency care equipment including pull cords and pendants.  

There are 24/7 carers on site providing care packages to residents. An Extra Care Manager is on site Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm, providing advice and support to residents. Tenants also benefit from a one hour per week flat-cleaning service.  

Within the scheme there is a large communal room with a range of activities available for residents to enjoy. There is a large communal garden area and a patio and seating area. There is a communal laundry room, shop, hairdresser, chiropodist, and Lisa's Daisy Diner serving hot meals to residents and family members.
