Gateshead Youth Council - Requesting donations of school supplies

Gateshead Youth Council are currently undertaking a project until the end of August 2026 to support asylum-seeking children and young people in Gateshead. As part of this initiative, they are aiming to collect donations to fill 100 pencil cases for those in need.

They are kindly asking for support from partners and the wider community. Donations of pencil cases, stationery items (such as pens, pencils, rulers, and notebooks), as well as PE bags, and PO kits, would be greatly appreciated.

All contributions will help ensure that children and young people arriving in Gateshead have the basic resources they need to participate in education and feel welcomed and supported.

Any assistance that can be provided to help achieve this goal would be gratefully received.
