The Gateshead Holiday, Activities and Food programme (HAF) - Requesting donation and services towards activities and food for Gateshead Students

The Gateshead HAF programme are needing help to support their activities to the children of Gateshead for the three main school holiday periods (Easter - two weeks, Summer six weeks, Christmas two weeks).

Donation of money

They're looking for donations which would help run the programme, covering the costs of staff, food and activities for the children. It costs around £25 per child to attend this programme (including food). 

Donation of services

This programme is also looking for physical activities (such as football, swimming, table tennis), creative activities (such as workshops, media, arts and crafts), visiting experiences (visiting farms, museums, cinema) and food experiences that the children can take part in during the holidays as well as donations of travel (coach travel/public transport).

Donation of items

This programme would love to receive donations of Sports equipment (footballs, hula hoops and so on), donations suitable for SEND children (pop-up tents, fidget items, timers) and crafting donations (glue sticks, wool, craft packs).

Work experience days

They're also looking for 'World of Work' days for the older children that they have within this programme so that they can have a taste of what it would be like working within different career routes. These days would need to occur in the main school holiday periods listed above.
