Please do not ignore this message. We need your help.
We have received your contact details from NHS Test and Trace as they have been unable to contact you following your positive test result for Covid-19.
Local contact tracing is vital to prevent the spread of Covid-19 within our community. We need to speak with you to both provide advice but importantly understand if there is any support that you might need.
We will continue to try contacting you from 0191 282 6222. However, if you can, please contact us on this number as soon as possible so we can discuss your recent contacts and confirm that you are self-isolating. This is vital to understand where you've been recently and who you've been in close contact with. This will help NHS Test and Trace contact anyone else that may need to self-isolate. This is absolutely essential to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Our team will try to answer any questions you may have and find out whether you need any support to self-isolate. This should not take any more than 40 minutes. All information provided will be treated in the strictest confidence and only used to help stop the spread of Covid-19. No one who is contacted will be told your identity.

After your isolation period, if you feel better and no longer have symptoms other than cough or loss of sense of smell or taste you can return to your normal routine. If you are employed, you may return to work.
We appreciate that self-isolation is a difficult request to make. However, it's essential for preventing further spread of the virus and protecting your community, including those who are vulnerable.
