Hawks Road to close for three weeks from Monday 14 February
To carry out essential drainage works, it is necessary to impose a road closure between the businesses of SIG Roofing and Barry's Tyres on Hawks Road with the diversion route being South Shore Road.
The drainage works are being carried out in preparation for a new North South link road in Baltic Quarter. The new road will connect Hawks Road with Albany Road providing improved access to the Baltic Quarter and Gateshead Quays from the A184 (Felling Bypass).
