About
Nudge Education are an intervention service specialising in re-engagement.
They cater for different SEN needs by matching with a practitioner(s) who have experience working with young people with different needs.
They are a flexible service that provides bespoke, engaging activities that are tailored to the individual needs of the young person, to build engagement and then support with transition.

Qualifications available
All subjects can be covered in line with the individual need. They have resources and teaching experience that can support practitioners if the subject is not a specialism. ASDAN, BKSB functional skills in Maths and English.
About the teaching
Students can attend from locations across the North East.
Teaching is delivered in ratios of 1 to 1, 1 to 2 or 1 to 3 where appropriate.
The provision is open from 9am to 4pm. Hours for students are flexible.
Transport is available.
The length of programme can be adapted to what is required for each student.
Pricing
Cost for sessions are as follows:
- £53.49 plus VAT for 1 to 1
- £98.66 plus VAT for 1 to 2
Transport costs and food/refreshments are included in the price.
How to apply for a place for a student
You can complete the online referral form on Nudge Education's website.
Contact with schools
Once a student has began their training, Nudge Education will contact schools on a daily basis to confirm attendance/non-attendance.
They will also provide weekly feedback.

Insurance
Nudge Education have current public liability cover and insurance certificates are displayed.
They also have current employee liability cover.
Safeguarding
Nudge Education have a compliant safeguarding policy in place which is reviewed yearly.
Pre-employment checks are carried out in line with guidance.
The provision has a designated safeguarding lead and there is regular training for all staff at the provision.
Health and safety
Nudge Education have a health and safety policy in place with a designated member of staff trained to Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) standard.
They have full risk assessment for the premises.
They have all required first aid equipment in place in line with RIDDOR procedures (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013).
Data protection
Nudge Education have a data retention policy in place which is reviewed regularly. Staff also receive regular training.
They have a privacy notice in place that explains how they collect, use and protect people's personal data.

There is a compliments and complaints policy and procedure in place.
