Notice of Intention and Timetable

On 30th June 2026, Gateshead Council gave notice of its intention to start preparing a new Joint Local Plan with Newcastle City Council. The NewcastleGateshead Local Plan will cover the City of Newcastle upon Tyne and the borough of Gateshead. The plan-making timetable and the notice are available to view and download below.
