Playback / Rewind: South Asian Sound and Memory
A new exhibition by Jimmy Turrell exploring Bollywood vinyl, printed ephemera and the lived histories of South Asian communities in Gateshead.
Through collage and large-scale compositions, Jimmy Turrell re imagines archive material to reflect how music carries memory, identity and cultural connection across generations.
