Saturday Art Club with GemArts & Sheryl Jenkins
Are you aged 10 - 14 and you like being creative? Join animator Sheryl Jenkins to create your own animated stories . For ages 10 -14 years old.
This workshop is inspired by South Asian puppetry and local folklore as part of GemArts Masala Festival.
You'll to make your own colourful, cut out puppets, use apps to animate them,
and add your own voices, sound effects and music to bring them to life.
You can take away any artwork you make during the workshop to continue your filmmaking ideas at home.
A copy of your film will be made available after the sessions.
Sheryl is a North East based animation artist and experienced tutor.
Her artistic practice includes moving image content for theatre and television,
commercial film work, and community projects.
