Emerald Explorers: Painting Trees with Katherine Rodger

Starting with quick sketches and photos outdoors (weather permitting) and then moving indoors to paint from photos, sketches and views from the windows.
We'll paint on pre-prepared surfaces, (bright coloured ground) using acrylics. The aim will be to capture both the beauty of trees and the effects of light through branches and foliage.
Please bring an apron or old shirt.
