This session will also cover the safe use of the sublimation printer and heat press and how you can use them independently.
Adults Only.

Find out how you can become a MakerPlace member and use our digital fabrication equipment on your own. These sessions cover how to prepare your files and use our equipment safely. Please note, you must be able to use a keyboard and mouse confidently to attend these sessions.

Gateshead Central Library Card: Attendees will need to have a Gateshead Library card ahead of attending this workshop, please bring this library card with you to the workshop to record your Health and Safety of the session for equipment bookings.

Late Arrivals: It will not be possible to join a workshop if you arrive more than 15 minutes late. By this time in a workshop, technical knowledge will have been covered and it won't be possible to go back over this information. 

Resources: All resources are included in the cost of the ticket for this event. Unless stated otherwise, you do not need to bring anything with you to participate.

Mobile Phones: We ask that mobile phones are not used during a workshop.

Food and Drink: Only covered beverages are allowed in the MakerPlace, we ask that you keep drinks away from the equipment and computers. No food is to be consumed in the MakerPlace. 

Participants must have basic keyboard and mouse skills.
