'No Access' Policy

9.1         We will hold 'no access' data within the housing system (NEC) and our appointment system (DRS), along with supporting evidence of appointments and access attempts in our document management system.

9.2         We will keep all these records for the duration that we own and manage the property/in line with our document retention policy. We have robust processes and controls in place to maintain appropriate levels of security for all housing related data.

9.3         Gateshead Council will comply with its obligations under relevant data protection legislation and regulations. There are some situations in which Gateshead Council is required by law to disclose information given to us.

9.4         Gateshead Council will share contact information with people working on our behalf and work with partner agencies to help gain access to our tenants' homes.
