Course aims:
To reduce the harms caused by perpetrators of domestic abuse by equipping practitioners with the knowledge, skills and confidence to identify, respond to, and support people subject to domestic abuse who may also be at risk of suicide.
Learning objectives
By the end of the session, participants will:
- understand the links between domestic abuse and suicide
- recognise key factors likely to increase the risk of suicide
- learning from local and national Domestic Abuse Related Death Reviews (DARDRs)
- know the latest prevalence data
- know how to respond effectively and compassionately to support and protect survivors

You must complete the free Suicide Awareness course before attending this training.
