Learning objectives

By the end of the session participants will be able to:

  • understanding what is high risk
  • understand the MARAC Process and how agencies contribute to MARAC
  • recognise the underpinning legislation and principles
  • understand the role of Safelives
  • understand Risk Indicator Checklist (RIC) and referral form
  • understand the meeting processes and contribute to the MARAC Action Planning process
  • understand how MARAC links to MAPPA/MATAC and understand their thresholds

 

Suitable for

  • Intercollegiate Framework: level 2 People identified in Groups 3-5
  • Bournemouth University Framework: People identified in Group B2-D
  • staff who may work with people at risk of high risk DVA or have responsibility of attending MARAC Meetings
