How to apply for a direct payment

Once you have been assessed as needing care and support services, following your initial care assessment, your social worker will then discuss with you whether a direct payment is a suitable way to meet your needs.  

A referral will then be sent from your social worker to the Direct Payment team. A member of the team will then contact you or your representative to begin the set up process.
