Description

Notice is hereby given that the Borough Council of Gateshead proposes to make an Order to introduce a bus lane onto the northbound carriageway of A195 New Road and Lingey Lane and introduce a speed amendment, as set out in the Schedule to the Order and the Notice of Intention below. There is also an intention to add a Speed Hump to A195 Lingey Lane, as set out in the Notice of Intention below.

The draft Order, together with a plan and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the two Orders may be viewed below.

If you wish to object to either of the proposed Orders, please comply with the requirements of the Notices of Intention and send the grounds for your objection in writing before 16 December 2025.
