Description

Notice is hereby given that on 24 September 2025 the Council made The Borough Council of Gateshead (The Quays Multi Storey Car Park) Traffic Regulation Order 2025. 

The Order, which comes into effect on 29 September 2025, will introduce pay and display parking into The Quays Multi Storey Car Park as detailed in the Schedules to the Order. 

The Notice of Making, Order and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order can be found below. 

If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under them has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply to the High Court for that purpose.
