Notice is hereby given that the Borough Council of Gateshead proposes to make the Bensham Road and Lobley Hill Road, Gateshead Waiting Restrictions Traffic Regulation Order 2025.

The order will introduce waiting restrictions as set out in the Schedules in the order to ensure strategic transport corridors are kept unrestricted from traffic.

The draft Order together with a plan and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order can be found below.

If you wish to object to the proposed Order, you should send the grounds for your objection in writing to be received on or before 9 December 2025.
