Notice is hereby given that the Borough Council of Gateshead proposes to make an Order to introduce a bus lane onto the northbound carriageway of Old Durham Road as set out in the Schedule to the Order and the Notice of Intention below. 

The draft Order, together with a plan and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be viewed below.  

If you wish to object to the proposed Order, please comply with the requirements of the Notice of Intention and send the grounds for your objection in writing before 1 December 2025.
