Membership and benefits
It's easy and free to become a member. Join online or come into a library. Bring an official letter with your name and address printed on it to get your library card straight away. Children can join the library at any age. We have a wide variety of children's books and activities for children of all ages!
We also have a large collection of books that can help with your health and wellbeing. We can help you find online advice and information and direct you to local services.
With your library card you can:
- borrow up to 20 books
- borrow up to 15 eBooks, 15 eMagazines and 8 eAudiobooks
- keep books for up to three weeks - we don't charge fines for late return of books
- renew books by phone, in person or online
- reserve books
- subscribe to eMagazines to keep up to date with new issues
Your new card will have a barcode number which is your username and you will also have a PIN
