Trade parking permits
Trade permits are available to trades people (for example plumbers and builders) who are working at a property in a permit parking zone which is not their permanent place of employment.
A daily trade permit allows the holder to park in the specified zone for one day; a weekly trade permit allows the holder to park in the specified zone for one week. It does not guarantee the use or availability of any space.
Trade permits are not transferable, exchangeable or refundable.
Proof of work is required for the site, for example an estimate or invoice, together with the application form and payment.

Permits can be applied for by post. Please include your payment (cheque or postal order made payable to Gateshead Council) with supporting documentation and send to:
