Katie's story
When she first got in touch with us, Katie was looking for a role in hospitality. As part of her job search, our team have supported Katie to complete a work placement at Costa Coffee.
Since she started her placement, Katie has been involved in a huge range of day-to-day tasks, from clearing tables and helping customers to ensuring tableware is sparkling clean. All of this is invaluable experience Katie didn't have before which will help boost her job search.
Speaking about her placement, Katie said: "I have loved working at Costa. I enjoyed getting to know my colleagues and learning new tasks, especially learning how to use the industrial dishwasher."
When we asked Jess, Branch Manager at Costa, about the impact Katie has made she said: "Katie has been an absolute joy to have in the store. Her positive attitude and bubbly personality have made us all laugh and we have all looked forward to working with her each week!"
