Gateshead Connects spaces
Gateshead Connects spaces are places in your community where you can access the support you need for social care issues by speaking to a member of staff face to face.
You can talk to someone from community-based organisations and statutory services about your circumstances, your strengths and sources of support. This can help you make changes in your life and achieve any outcomes that you have chosen.
Our 4 Gateshead Connect spaces are at Felling Family Hub, Deckham Family Hub, Chowdene Family Hub and Teams Life Centre. They offer advice and support on a variety of subjects including:
- budgeting skills and benefits
- mental health and wellbeing
- housing
- food and fuel poverty
- carer support
- community activities
- independent living
