For this you'll need gardening gloves, a screwdriver and a brush.

Gully drains often get blocked during the autumn months with leaves.

Clear away any leaves and debris around your gully with a brush.

Use a screwdriver to get better access to the gully by gently lifting the gully grate.

Remove any leaves, rubbish or other debris that is collected in the grate.

Replace the gully grate.

Repeat this regularly to avoid any buildup.
